Coronavirus and Reflexology
I have completed an COVID-19 infection control course and am now able to offer foot reflexology treatments at the moment.
I will ask all clients to complete a risk assessment before their treatment and will do initial consultations over the phone.
ALL clients must wear a face mask during their treatment (one will be provided if you do not have one).
I will also wear a face mask during the treatment.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the belief that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all organs and parts of the body. Reflexology works on an individual basis and may alleviate and improve symptoms such as everyday stress and tension.
Using specific thumb or finger massage techniques, I apply appropriate pressure to the feet or hands so you gain benefit, holistically across all body systems. I am seeking to identify any imbalances in these body systems by picking up and working reflexes found on the feet or hands.
At an initial reflexology session, you will be asked to complete a consultation form, which helps me to understand your symptoms, medical history and the aim of the treatment.
During reflexology sessions, you remain fully clothed, except for your shoes and socks, and you will be lying on a couch.
Reflexology sessions normally last 45 minutes
