Coronavirus & Massage therapy
I have completed an COVID-19 infection control course and am offering limited massage treatments at the moment. I am not able to offer full body massages or treatments longer than 60 mins in order to minimise the risk of infection from Coronavirus.
I will ask all clients to complete a risk assessment before their treatment and will do initial consultations over the phone.
ALL clients must wear a face mask during their treatment (one will be provided if you do not have one).
I will also wear a face mask during the treatment.
What is Massage Therapy
Massage therapy involves the manual manipulation of soft tissues and muscles in the body. This is to promote healing and enhance your health and well-being.
During a Deep tissue massage, traditional Swedish massage session or hot stone massage, the intention is to relax the soft tissues, increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the particular areas, warm them, and help the body to relax.
At an initial massage therapy session, you will be asked to complete a consultation form, which helps me to understand your symptoms, medical history and the aim of the treatment.
Massage sessions vary from 30 - 90 mins
